POLITICS & ECONOMICS RESEARCH GROUP (PERG)

The PERG seminar series provides a shared platform for discussing new exciting research in the areas of international relations, comparative politics, political economy, and development economics and environmental economics. The series meets four to five times per semester, featuring presentations of ongoing research by international researchers.

From all across IE University, the Politics & Economics Research Group brings together faculty members who are interested in topics such as democracy, development, geopolitics, conflict, sustainability, international trade, and social entrepreneurship.

The seminar series provides a platform for discussing new and exciting research in those fields, featuring presentations of cutting-edge research by internal and external researchers. On average, we invite 10 external speakers and 6 internal speakers (IE or Madrid-based) per year.

ALL INTERESTED ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
